My Fantastic East Coast Trip

Beacon Hill

Quincy Market

       Recently, I went to a trio to the East coast with a school group.  First, we went to Beacon Hill.  There are many classic and expensive houses.  Our tour guide told us the houses cost six million dollars!  There are some blooming cherry blossoms and they were very beautiful for the houses.  I wish I would live there.  After Beacon Hill, we went to Quincy Market.  There were three buildings and each buildings had own topics.  First building sold food, then second sold souvenirs, and last one sold clothes.  Some people showed their performances on the road in front of the buildings.  Everyone enjoyed shopping and eating and also I enjoyed them too.  On next day, we went to the Plymouth Plantation.  There had houses which were replica and also had people whom acted pilgrims.  Pilgrims, actor, didn’t know what the camera is because they were pilgrims and they had never lived in modern world.  I was very interested in that.  I felt as if I was in the village in 1960.  The East coast trip was exciting.  There are many differences between Japan and there, or even Spokane and the East coast.  That is fun and I recommend you to travel there!

My Delightful East Coast Trip

              I visited many fascinating places during the East Coast Trip, and I enjoyed the trip so much.  At first, I visited Plymouth Massachusetts, and saw Mayflower II which brought Pilgrims to America.  When I saw it first, I was surprised, because it was much smaller than I expected.  After I saw the great MayflowerⅡ, I ate tasty food American people eat it in Thanks giving for lunch.  It was my first time to eat the food, but I really loved it.  Next, I visited sweet Orchard House where the famous author, Louisa May Alcott lived.   The house made me very thrilled, because all of the things in the house were very cute.  I especially loved the picture drawn by May Alcott, Louisa’s younger sister.  The pictures had a special power to attract people.  Finally, I visited the amazing Smithonian Institution.  It consists of 9 museums, and I was able to visit 5 museums.  One of my favorite museums was the Air and Space Museum, because I had special experiences there.  For example, I touch the moon rock.  It made me very impressed, because I haven’t thought my hands could touched the moon rock.  The rock was tiny, but I felt the power of the moon from it.  As you can see, my East Coast Trip was awesome.  I want to visit there again.

Traveling with a school group

 Traveling with a school group is great experience in a school life.  When I have my job, it is difficult to travel whenever I want.  I think that I should use the good opportunity to travel.  First, I can visit somewhere I may not visit by myself in the school trip.  When I traveled East Coast, I could visit many places where I might not visit by myself.  It is great for the students to learn a lot of things.  Second, I can learn a lot of things fron a tour guide.  My East Coast Trip's guide was a native speaker, so I spent a lot of time to understand what she said.  At the end of the trip, I was able to understand better than the first day of the trip.  I was so happy to be able to do that.  Moreover, I was able to talk with people who I have not talked a lot before.  The school trip gave me many new friends.  It is the one of the best memories in the trip.  I am sure that traveling with a school group will be wonderful experience in the school life.  All the students should participate in travel with a school group if they have opportunity.  Thus, their school life will be precious time in their life.

My Great East Coast Trip

I encourage us to travel with a school group. I learned about many things from East Cast Trip.  First reason, we can deepen our friendship. For example, My friend and I had a lot of trouble in ECT because of a little things. However also, we enjoyed ECT with each other to have same experiences. I think we can be deepen our friendship to experience a lot of things together. 2nd reason,we can make new friends during traveling because we cn have a lot of opportunities to speak to other people. Then, you can find new things that you didn't know. For example, Italked with a few people I didn't know during ECT and I was able to make a new friend. I was so happy. It was my great experience. I had a great time on my East Ccoast Trip

My Great East Coast Trip

Traveling with a school group is a great experience for students.  First, students can learn more history of the place. For example, I learned many history during East Coast Trip, such as pilgrims, George Washington and so on.  I couldn’t understand the history of New England without East Coast Trip.  To visit the place is great way to learn about the place.  When I visit a historical place, I feel closer to the history.  That experience gives me a more higher motivation to study history.  In addition, students can see more beautiful views which they have never seen.  For me, the Beacon Hill was very beautiful and graceful place.  I saw a lot of buildings there which I had never seen.  I was impressed by those buildings.  My dream was increased at that time, to live in Bacon Hill.  Finally, the best thing about traveling with a school group is to communicate each other.  Students can have more communication with a tour guide, a bus driver, a teacher and an adviser than daily life.  It is a wonderful opportunity to know each other.  We can know each other more and more, and we talk about more privacy topics.  Then we might become good friends!  In conclusion, traveling with a school group is a great experience for students.  It would be very fun and  it will be great materials for their future.

My Marvelous Trip

      I had two great memories during the East Coast Trip with my school group.  First of all, we went to the Lincoln memorial. There was a big statue of Lincoln and speech on the wall.  I was very surprised that Lincoln was sitting at the big chair so if he were standing, he would be 28 feet tall.  Besides, I found  the place that Martin Luther King Jr. gave the famous speech "I have a dream...". I was happy to see the same place where he stood.I also impressed by Harvard University.  There were many facilities for studying in campus.  I was walked the campus with my group and we took many pictures like Harvard University students. I wanted to lay down on the lawn but we didn't have enough time so I gave up. I saw John Harvard's statue and touched his toes.  According to legend of Harvard's statue, I will probably have a good future. I was glad to go to the East Coast.  Moreover I had many times with my group and  had fantastic memories.

My Awesome Trip

             

                Traveling with a school group is wonderful memory. At first, I went to Quincy market. I enjoyed shopping, also I watched performance. I spent a lot of money there. I bought some souvenirs, and T-shirts. Next, I visited Plymouth plantation. It recreates a 17th century American village. There are people who lived in 17th century, so they didn't know about phone or Japan. It was very fun. At last, the most enjoyable place is Smithsonian museum. It was huge and interesting. I recommend Air and space museum. You can see many planes, rockets, and history of space shuttle. I want to go there again.

My Great East Coast Trip

I think traveling with a school group is great.   I learned it from East Coast Trip.  I went to East Coast with my school group.  I learned cooperating with group members was very important.  There were about 30 students in the group, and some students didn't know each other.  During the trip, we had to keep on time.  If some students were late, they would bother many students, so we tried to cooperate with each other in order not to annoy others.  Next, communicating is very important.  There were some students who I had never talked with.  I wanted to get along with them, so I tried to communicate with them.  I remember the names of most them, and we talked a lot.  Then, having meals with group members was very good.  If I had traveled alone,  I would not have enjoyed meal.  I think eating meals is little lonely.  When we had dinner, we were talking a lot and we laughed many times.  It was my wonderful memory.  As you can see, I had a great time on my East Ccoast Trip.

My Wonderful Seattle Trip

There were my favorite things in Seattle trip last weekend.  First, I went to 16^th Avenue to have dinner, and then, I ate crapes.  After I ate it, I put a tip on the table for the first time.  I was confused because I actually didn’t know how to tip very well.  The next day, I rode on the dinner cruise.  Then, I talked and took pictures with my friends.  Also, I was able to make some new friends, so I had a great time.  Finally, I went to Pike Place Market.  At about ten o’clock, I started to queue to buy some mugs at the original Starbucks.  I was tired because I had to wait a long time  for my turn to order the mugs.  While I was waiting my turn, I saw walking dogs with their masters, and then I really wanted to see my dogs.  I was content because I was able to do many things I had never experienced.

My Nice Seattle Trip

 Seattle trip was very nice.  First, one of the most exciting experience was to see the Columbia River.  It was a huge, big and beautiful river.  Japanese rivers are small and narrow, so I was very surprised to see it.  It was a sunny day, so I could see clearly.  Second, Dinner cruise abroad the Argosy was great. The night view was wonderful, and took some pictures. The dinner was very delicious, I ate salmon, pasta, salad, fruit and cake etc.  Finally, I enjoyed the Starbucks.  I like the coffee, and I think the smell is good.  It is in the Pike Place Market. I bought four tumblers and coffee beans.  I will give tumblers to my grand parents.  It’s useful to bring a drink.  As you can see, This trip was a good experience for me.  I want to visit Seattle again.

The Wonderful Trip

The Seattle trip was a great experience. First, I went to the Columbia River. I have never seen such a big river in Japan. I was scared because I stood on the edge of rock. However, I liked this place so I want to visit there one more time. Next, I stayed at the hotel. There were three people in my room so it was bigger than two people room. My roommate and I used the Jacuzzi. I like to take a bath because it makes me comfortable. After that, I went to the Space Needle in the morning. I enjoyed delicious brunch.  I ate scrambled eggs, bacon, and scone. I saw beautiful Mount Rainier. It is wonderful that I went to the Seattle trip.

My Lovely Trip

Seattle trip was marvelous for me. My favorite events were visiting Safeco Field, Pike Place Market and dinner cruise. First, Safeco Field was terrific because I was able to go in the player’s rocker room, interview room and I was able to stand on the field. Then I want to watch baseball games in Safeco Field. Second, Pike Place Market was enjoyable because I could see throwing fish only one time. This performance made me amazed. I walked around the market and saw a lot of fish and seafood then I wanted to eat something so I bought a delectable boiled crab to eat. Finally, my favorite event was marvelous and admirable dinner cruise. The dinner was so great, but night the view was better. I could see Seattle’s night view on the ship. Many buildings were lighted up so I admired the night view.  I hope that I visit Seattle again.

The Best Three Places

I have a lot of memories during the Seattle trip.  My best places are Space Needle, dinner cruise, and Pike Place Market.  First, Space Needle was amazing not only food but also the view.  I ate a muffin, two pieces of bacon, a crepe, a sausage, and pineapplefor brunch.  Unfortunately, the weather was raining, so I didn’t see a panoramic view. I bought a lot of souvenirs for my family and friends, such as Space Needle’s postcard, three pens, and a sticker.  I enjoyed shopping but spent a lot of money.  Second, I was able to see the best romantic view of Seattle. I was happy to see the beautifl view. After I ate dinner, my classmates of Japan and I took a picture in front of the night view.  There was a luxurious atmosphere in the ship, so I forgot feeling tired.  Finally, Pike Place Market was very enjoyable.  There is original Starbucks there ,and of course I went there. It was a very small shop, and people made a long line in front of the Starbucks because everyone wanted the original mug.  Pike Place Market has a lot of kind of shops, and shop assistants were very kind for us, so I like the place.  These three places are the best of Seattle trip. I love Seattle through this trip and want to go there again.

A Wonderful Trip

I had a good trip to Seattle.  First, I enjoyed the dinner cruise on Saturday night.  I had never taken a ship, so I was looking forward to going to the dinner cruise.  I had delicious salmon for dinner.  I also enjoyed the beautiful night view of Seattle from the cruise.  Next, I went to the Space Needle on Sunday morning, and I ate very tasty brunch.  I was surprised that I could see Mt. Rainier clearly.  Finally, I went shopping in Pike Place Market.  There were a lot of people and stores which had fresh food, so I was excited.  I had a good time there.  As you can see, the Seattle trip was a good experience for me.

The Terrific Seattle Trip

              My trip to Seattle was very pleasing.First,I visited   Safecofield which is the home field of Seattle Mariners.  I entered members' room and sat on the seat which the Mariners' players sat on.  It made me very exhilarated.  I also entered the interview room.  Next, I ate delicious dinner on a dinner cruise ship.  My favorite food was cheesecake.  I would like to eat it again.  I also enjoyed seeing the night view from the ship.  When I saw illuminated Space Needle, I was really impressed.  Finally, I visited Pike Place Market.  There were many people in the market, so the market was very active.  I was thrilled, because I saw a variety of shops.  I bought beautiful bunch of flowers there.  As you can see, my trip to Seattle was really delightful.

My Wonderful Seattle Trip

 I went to Seattle to study Washington State for three days.  This was my second trip, but I went to a lot of places where I have never been to.  On the way to Seattle, we stopped at the very huge and very beautiful Columbia River.  I have never seen it, so I took many pictures.  Near the river, there were a lot of beautiful ponies on an edge of hill.  The end of first day, I stayed at the Courtyard hotel.  I love this hotel better than MFWI!  There was a comfortable queen-size bed in each room, and I had five pillows!  I felt soft and fluty, and happy to stay there for two nights.  The final day of the trip, I went to Pike Place Market.  I have been there, so I was able to go around there easily.  There was the original Starbuks there.  All of the Mukogawa students wanted to buy some souvenirs, then they made a long line from out of the store.  Many Americans saw it, then everybody said, “How crazy line!” so it was very interesting for me.  Some of them took a picture of the line and went past.  This trip was very wonderful experiences for me, and it will bring me a high motivation to study English!

I had a really good time for 3 days in Seattle.  This trip was so excited for me.  First, UW is one of my favorite places.  It was so large and beautiful university.  I especially like that a style of architecture.  It was ancient building but it has been kept beautifully.  Second, State Capital Building was so historical.  I was surprised when I heard that the building is the 5^th largest place.  When I came in the building, I saw a very beautiful and big chandelier.  After that, I saw everywhere by the building tour and I learned about George Washington and American politics.  It was interesting story so I realized about history of Washington.  Finally, Space Needle is the most favorite place because when I went to there, the weather was so good so I saw the Mount Rainier.  It was a very big mountain.  I was very happy because If the weather was bad, I couldn’t see a nice sight and the mountain.  Brunch was also good and delicious.  I especially like a Muffin.  It was so good so I want to eat again.  The trip was really good for me.  I want to go again soon.

My Precious Memory

I had a good time in the Seattle trip.  We stayed at COURTYARD.  When I arrived at the hotel at first, I was so tired, but I got a little energy when I entered my room.  After the activity of the second day, my room was beautiful.  I was grateful for their kindness.  Next, I enjoyed a dinner cruise very much.  It was my first time to go to the dinner cruise, so I was excited when I went into the ship.  The dinner was awesome, and I was satisfied and full.  After the dinner, I watched the fabulous night view, and my eyes sparkled with excitement.  I took a lot of pictures, and the dinner cruise was my good experience. The next day, I ate a delicious brunch and saw a beautiful view at the Space Needle. I also ate a lot of fruit, and it was good too.  After eating the brunch, I went to the observation desk to see the beautiful view.  The weather was very good, so I could see Mt. Rainier from the Space Needle.  Also, it was one of my best memories.

My Wonderful Seattle Trip

The Seattle Trip was a good experience for me. First, we went to the Columbia River before we arrived in Seattle. I studied about the Columbia River in American studies class so I already knew it is a very huge river. But I was so surprised when I saw the Columbia River because it was so huge, much more than I imagined it. I was affected by the sight of the Columbia River. On the 2^nd day, we went to the University of Washington. It is different from Japanese Universities. For example, many people walked around the university, had a lunch and played. I can’t see the sight in Japan so I looked it is very wonderful. The night of 2^nd day, I experienced a Dinner Cruise. Before the Dinner Cruise, I worried about seasickness but I forgot about seasickness when I got on ship because the ship was very beautiful and there were delicious meals. The night view from the ship looked like a jewel but I thought the evening sun I saw from the ship was more attractive! I loved the sight of the evening sun was sinking below the horizon. It was so wonderful! I want to visit Seattle again!

My Awesome Seattle Trip

Two weeks ago, I went to Seattle Trip.  It was my first time, and I was very excited.  At first, one of the best places for me was the Dinner Cruise.  I went there on the second day.  I ate very delicious dishes, and I saw a beautiful sunset and night view.  I ate salmon, a specialty in Seattle.  It was very good, and I was very happy.  Second, I also liked the Space Needle.  I went there to eat the last day’s brunch, and I ate not only bread, but also fruit and delicious muffins.  After that, I went to an observatory and saw view of Seattle.  The day was very cold, but I had a good time there.  Last, I visited Pike Place Market, and I went to the place of the first Starbucks coffee.  I had wanted to visit this store, so the store impressed me.  I also saw a lot of grocery stores.  Before I visited there, I had heard about a famous pig monument, so I took a picture with the pig.  I could feel the lively atmosphere.  As you can see, I had a good time in Seattle.

My Wonderful Trip

I took a trip to Seattle on last weekend.  At first, I went to the University of Washington.  I am delighted that I spent the time there because I had a lot of fun.  The buildings of the University were so attractive and the cherry blossoms were blooming.  The sun came out so the sky was brilliant and the blue sky was suitable for the pink bright blossoms.  At the University district, I found an enjoyable old clothing shop and I bought some great and low price clothes.  Second, I went to the Space Needle, and I ate delicious brunch in it.  After the brunch, I went to the top of the tower and went outside, and the view which I saw from the Space Needle was wonderful because it was a sunny day and I could see Mt. Rainier.  One of the guides in the Space Needle said it is not so often that we can see Mt. Rainier, so I was very lucky!  The Space Needle was based on a spaceship so there were many souvenirs with a motif of the space.  I like the stars, so I bought many souvenirs.  Finally, I went to Pike Place Market. I saw the ocean and I like it so I was thrilled.  I found a pretty shop which has antique stuff and also I found a cute and small blue box there.  I like it and it is in my room now.  So, I really enjoyed the view, shopping and the food in Seattle!

Wonderful Orchard House

We we went to Orchard House in Boston. This house is famous by the book, Little Women. I was curious about the Alcott family. At first, I saw lots of antique decorations and Amy's drawings on the walls and on the closet. There was a small piano and a big piano in the living room and the dining room. Second, there was a small giftshop in this house. They sold original Little Women books and postcards. I bought a book. Finally, the Alcott family had four girls in the small house, but I thought they would have had a bigger house. Their father taught school and their mother helped poor people. I noticed they were a kind family. I learned lots of things about the Orchard house and the Alcott family in Boston.

An interesting museum

I went to The National History Museum in Washington D.C.. I was excited because it was very interesting and worth seeing. First, you can learn about World War II there. If you are Japanese, you may feel offended because it has on American view, but at first, Japan did attack Pearl Harbor so the World WarII started. You can see many pictures of the war. Second, you can see the pictures of the successive presidents of the United States and what they did for the country. George Bush and George Bush Jr. look alike. Third, you can see the pictures of the successive first ladies of the United States. They are very beautiful, especially, Jacqueline Kennedy. She is John F. Kennedy's wife. She looks like a fashion model. You can see and learn many things at The National History Museum.

A Beautiful Restaurant

I went to PF.Changs which is an Asian restaurant downtown, last week. We ate delicious Chinese food. This restaurant’s atmosphere is very good thanks to slow music playing and elegant decoration. I was served a seafood noodle soup with appetizer, but it wasn’t delicious. Next we were served steamed pork and vegetables dumplings and fried rice and shrimp rice. Among of all of this delicious food, shrimp rice is the best because the taste was close to that of Japan. My server was friendly and kind. He spoke to us more. So I had my photograph taken with him. I want to go with my Group and my RA again.
