A Beautiful Restaurant

Europa is one of the restaurants in Spokane and it has a lot of beautiful European furniture and good cooking. I like looking at furniture and especially I like European furniture, so I was joyful while I ate my meal. I ate a half-size gorgonzola turkey sandwich and tomato and potato soup. The sandwich was very delicious, but it was a little salty. The lovely tomato soup was especially flavorful and spicy. I want to eat them again. Next time, I want to take my family. I believe my mother would like the atmosphere in Europa. I’ll be sure to recommend the sandwich and the soup. My experience at Europa restaurant was a wonderful time.
An Italian restaurant
I went to Italian kitchen, a nice Italian restaurant on the 7th of October. I have been to an Italian restaurant in Japan so I knew what it is like but I couldn’t understand an English menu. I asked the server what dishes there are. He was very kind and handsome so I was happy to talk to him. Eventually I ordered spaghetti with tomato sauce. At first, the server brought me some slices of bread. I ate them with olive oil. Then he brought me salad. It was very tasty but it was a little bit expensive so I didn’t order something to drink. I tipped him just one dollar. It was my first time to tip in a restaurant so I was confused. It was a good experience to me.
A Fun Restaurant

Nao, Ayaka and I went to the restaurant “Rock City” in conversation class. First, the servers led to us the inside of the restaurant. They were very kind for us. Next, we ate the food. We could eat Italian there, so I chose spaghetti and a pizza. Especially, I wanted to eat a pizza in America, because American pizza is bigger than Japan’s pizza. So, it was very good and then we were satisfied. Finally, we paid a tip. There is no tip in Japan, so it was a first time for me, but I were able to pay it perfectly.

The Fantastic Chili's Restaurant
We went to the fantastic restaurant,'Chili's", in conversation class. This restaurant's atomosphere was American. There was like a cool bar in the corner. The waiter was very kind to us. When asother waitress made a mistake (added soda into the water), he brought a new soda nonchantly. We were impressed because when we were eating, he asked politely if he could do something else. So we left a big tip for the waiter. I ate piece of crispy chicken, potatoes and some corn. They were delicious. Especially, the piece of crispy chicken was very crunchy. So I ate completely without doggy bag. This restaurant became my favorite restaurant because I can't make crispy chicken like Chili's restaurant's crispy chicken.
The Unique Restaurant
Safari Room was such a unique restaurant. I had never gone to such a unique restaurant. First, it has the interior decorations with animal motifs like leopard pattern seats, zebra pattern lights and some sculptures of elephants. It was very fresh for me. Then, this restaurant was part of a hotel so I was very surprised. The atmosphere of the hotel was not only like a safari but also elegant. The restaurant has a lot of delicious Italian food. I ate Flat breads. It was very savory and crisp like pizza which has tomato, pasta and olive oil. I also ate Huckleberry cheesecake. The combination of huckleberry sauce and cheesecake was very good. I recommend it. Tomoka, Wakana and I had a good time in the Safari Room.
The Elegant Restaurant
I went to Palm Court to eat a delicious lunch downtown. They serve Asian food, sandwiches and salads. I ate a sandwich with tomato slices, lettuce and fried fish between. It tastes very good and I ordered the cheesecake. It was delicious too! The waiter was kind to us and asked "How was the flavor?" The restaurant's atmosphere was fantastic and quiet. There is a fountain in front of the restaurant. I enjoyed lunch so I want to eat different dishes next time. You should go to Palm Court in the Davenport Hotel downtown.
A Fantastic Restaurant
I had some first experience in my life at a fantastic American restaurant called Herbal Essence. My friends and I had lunch downtown. It was my first time that I had lunch in a restaurant in America. I had a BBQ wrap. The food was so delicious. It tasted nice and smelled nice. Next time, I should order the same. But the price is a little bit of expensive for its quantity. It’s quality rather than quantity, so we didn't need a doggy bag. There was a relaxing atmosphere there. The atmosphere made me want to be there. And it was so silent there because there weren't any guests except us. At last, we tipped the waiter. It was also my first experience because it’s not a Japanese restaurant custom. We had a great time and experienced an American custom.
A Fantastic Restaurant

I went to Red Robin, a traditional restaurant, with Saki and Akiho. I ate a hamburger and French fries. The hamburger was giant and French fries were large. When I finished eating, a server brought a new basket of French fries. If I did not say “I ‘m done,” the server brought French fries again and again. The server asked us “Is this good?” and smiled. She seemed very pleasant. In the restaurant, there were lots of pictures and decorations. You should go to this restaurant if you want to appreciate American tradition.

A Great Class
This year, I am teaching an awesome class of Writing students. First, each student is a diligent worker. Sometimes, before I give an assignment, they are already asking me questions about how to do it. Second, they are kind to one another. Students get along well and help one another with their writing. Finally, they are quickly learning to blog! They are sharing their paragraphs and journal topics online for everyone to read. You can see that this might one of the best writing classes I have ever taught.
